Engineering Mission & Open-Source Lab

RepoBenchmarks (repobenchmarks.com) is an independent open-source engineering lab and technical publication founded by Nabil Massaoudi. We design, build, and benchmark real-world developer tools, autonomous AI agents, and cloud infrastructure repositories hosted publicly on GitHub.

Unlike generic tutorial blogs or synthetic documentation summaries, every article on RepoBenchmarks is backed by a real, functional codebase that we have developed, load-tested, and benchmarked on dedicated hardware. We build in public, participate in developer challenges, and publish our raw findings—including latency percentiles, memory footprints, architectural bottlenecks, and failure modes.

What We Build & Benchmark

  • Autonomous AI & Agentic Systems: Production architectures integrating open-weight LLMs, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, and tabular foundation models.
  • Full-Stack Micro-SaaS & Developer Tools: End-to-end applications built with modern stacks (FastAPI, React 19, Vite, Rust CLI tooling).
  • Database & Storage Showdowns: Rigorous OLAP and OLTP benchmarks across PostgreSQL, DuckDB, ClickHouse, SQLite, and in-memory caches.
  • Production Runbooks & Stacks: Hardened Docker Compose stacks, rootless runtimes, and disaster recovery procedures.

Editorial & Verification Standards

Every benchmark and runbook follows our four-pillar verification protocol:

  1. Source Code Public on GitHub: All code snippets, Dockerfiles, and compose configurations are maintained in public repositories under the github.com/repobenchmarks organization.
  2. Empirical Hardware Profiling: We specify exact CPU cores, memory limits, storage drivers, and software patch versions for every test.
  3. No Synthetic Hallucinations: Every command and code sample is verified against active runtimes prior to publication.
  4. Open Methodology: If you find an error or wish to reproduce our numbers on alternative hardware, our maintainer disclosures desk is open at editorial@repobenchmarks.com.
